When will World Andropause Awareness Day be celebrated? June 1st of each calendar year.
What is World Andropause Awareness Day? Awareness of the Andropause is low, with men frequently dismissing any symptoms as just old age kicking in or stress. Historically, it is just accepted as normal and considered a taboo subject whilst the age-related changes to hormone levels develop physical and emotional symptoms including erectile dysfunction, loss of libido, muscle weakness, abnormal fat distribution in the body, inability to gain muscle mass despite exercising, constant fatigue and reduced energy, to mention a few. These may vary from person to person from the age of 40 onwards. It usually continues for the rest of life with many men finding it difficult to acknowledge there may be a problem by refusing to even talk about the symptoms.
How should World Andropause Awareness Day be celebrated or observed? Organizing campaigns and events to engage communities, and share World Andropause Awareness Day social media posts.
Why was World Andropause Awareness Day created? The aim of the day is to raise awareness of the Andropause and the support options available for men to improve health and wellbeing and succeed in reversing the symptoms by educating them about the unique set of protocols focusing on treatments around sexual rejuvenation, medicated weight management, hormonal therapy, and pain management.
