What is National Sons Day? National Sons Day is a day to celebrate and recognize the special importance and significance of being a son and raising sons. Sons will be future fathers, role models, and leaders. The importance of the role of sons in the lives of their families and the honor of raising up son’s will be emphasized.
 
Why was National Sons Day created? Many boys don’t have father figures although these boys are still sons. Research shows that having a male role model in the home for sons is extremely important to supporting a safe and thriving society. 
 
Who created National Sons Day day? This day was founded by Jill Nico in 2018.
 
How should National Sons Day be celebrated or observed? This day should be observed through media coverage of stories of sons with and without physical fathers in their life. Through education on the latest peer reviewed research on how to raise son’s. And through social media with mothers and fathers sharing pictures of themselves their sons and praising their accomplishments. Use the hashtag #NationalSonsDay to share your photos.
