When is this day celebrated? December 8
What is National Health Savings Account Day Day?
December 8, 2003 is the day that the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act of 2003 was signed into law by the 108th Congress of the United States of America. This bill created the Health Savings Account (HSA), a medical savings account available to taxpayers in the United States who are enrolled in a high-deductible health plan (HDHP). This day celebrates the creation of HSA as well as the bill that made it possible. Millions of Americans are saving money on healthcare expenses every year thanks to this legislation.
Who founded this day? This day was founded by Ameriflex in 2019.
