Why is this day being celebrated or observed? With consolidation playing a large part in the business world and large corporations buying out smaller businesses, we would like to celebrate those businesses that have survived over the years as a family owned and operated business. We celebrate the businesses that cherish family and keep their companies’ ethics and business model to suit how their fathers and forefathers ran a business, bringing those values to the corporate world we live in today.
