When is National Care For Kids Day? This day will take place on September 20 of each calendar year.
What is National Care For Kids Day? The Designetics Cares Foundation was created to positively impact the lives of children by offering community outreach, educational assistance and in-kind donations to children’s charities. We strongly advocate taking what was a local effort in Ohio and emphasizing it on a national scale, so kids all over the country can benefit from people caring for their educational and emotional needs. People taking part in National Care For Kids Day can take time to contribute to children’s charities, help out kids in the neighborhood, or volunteer to programs that benefit children. Additionally, the day can be used to spotlight how people from all walks of life care for kids, bringing to the forefront inspirational stories and the little things that make a difference in children’s lives.
Why is this day being celebrated or observed? This day is being observed to recognize the need for people from all walks of life to positively influence children’s futures, through philanthropic efforts, activities designed to enrich the lives of kids and scholarship opportunities.
How should this day be celebrated or observed? People can celebrate by volunteering at children’s charities, participating in local school events, contributing to after-school programs, donating to scholarships benefiting children or making in-kind donations of their time to local organizations, keeping the needs of children top of mind.
Who created this day? This day was created in February 2021 by the Designetics Cares Foundation.
