What is this day? This day was created to raise the consciousness of America to remember the victims of violent crime. Our country has countless family members left behind after catastrophic events in their lives, from 9/11 to thousands of other horrific deaths by violence. We much reach out to victims and on this day we can lift them up and this day will enable us to make it official.
Who created this day? This day was founded in 2020 by Aasia Stormm to remember her son who was murdered when he was 7 years old.
How should this day be celebrated or observed? Honor this day by taking the time to remember those who were lost thorough senseless violence. We are all victims of murder, whether it is a family member or not.
